i don't know where everyone is from, here in oklahoma city we have like 4 in of snow maybe more....i went to a family funeral in fort worth, tx last night (went down wednesday evening because the funeral was at 1pm thursday) it sleeted last night there and we wanted to make sure we was able to get down there alright.....we left at 3:45 pm thursday to get back and didn't get home to okc until 11pm.....its a 3-1/2 hr drive max, but we convoyed with my uncle and dad and had my three kids with us (we had to have speacial permission from a judge to able to take them to another state)so we had to stop and eat and go to the bathroom 3 times because of the weather we had to drive between 25 and 40 mph....so we took my wife's car on the trip because of my tire accident 3 weeks ago she didn't want to chance it...we got stuck on the way back once in ardmore....after a potty brake we were getting back on the ice covered road and slide right into a curbed....pushed it out but because of the lowering kit it made it hard....after we got in okc, we got stuck 2 times within 50 feet of each other.....once up a hill at a red light a cop helped push us and then another trying to get on an on ramp where the snow was over 6in a 4 wheel suv pulled us out.....last time was right infront of our house....the street we live on is completely ice and we drove up it like we was power sliding....about to turn from the street to the our driveway we slide right into our curb in front of the house.....so we had to get it from being stuck again....not too, too bad this time...anyway....all the times we got stuck it made it harder to get out because of the lowering kit....on the plus side when its dry out it does handle better...

buy a subby wagon to get around... it was like high 60's here today... i guess global warming has a plus side... you can thank us 5.0 owners for 50% of the co2 emitted...LOL but yea lowered + snow = bad... I had to dig this kids slammed hatch a track around my block so he could drive home... and to top it off i think he messed up his radiator

Man im freezing my ass of here in PHX. It was 48* tonight and i was dying!!!!!!

And yah lowering kits do suck in those kind of situations but are defitnetly worth cuz of how they look

man, use more commas, lol. DON'T DRIVE THE STANG IN THE SNOW!!!! It makes Jesus cry. I agree with Adam, buy a cheap subaru, like, real cheap. That way, it's like a disposeable razor, you crash it into a curb, well... just keep the steering wheel cranked waay over so you can drive straight on your way home!

my wife had to be at work at 7am this morning....needless to say she was a little late...i had to get her unstuck again this morning.....nothing but ice.....it sucked.....redblur its my trademark....lol....

earlier this year I lowered my car so I have yet to see how it does in the snow especially with the 315's out back. My car is my daily driver because im a college student and cant afford another car/insurance. You just gotta make sure your really careful and drive slow. I've had some scary incidents but for the most part it's not too bad. But yeh our cars are pretty much useless in the winter. Whenever I plan on going home or anywhere decently far, i make sure i check the weather so I know if i have to leave earlier etc. lol

the look and benefits of lower springs are worth it in my opnion :hail2:

if everything goes as planned this year... this will be my last winter!

RWD sucks unless you have another axle in the ft that can pull. Mustang as a DD/Familymobile has always seemed a hard choice, but you gotta do what you gotta do.:D

wow i cant believe my eyes mustangs in snow!!!!i need videos of this stuff...315's in snow especically!!!!!!! i put mine in storage for winter comprehensive coverage only...which covers the vehicle when in not moving...for both mustangs its 20 dollars a month...well worth it i dont want to rust out my investments. i really advise you get something cheap and put plpd on it... if you can afford insurance on a mustang you can put plpd on a beater.... please save the stangs dont take em in the snow.....

its easier said then done about getting a beater....we ended up getting our cars in the summer time, with the results of our foster kids up for grabs at the time we decided to get our cobras....i still woundn't trade or sell my car for atleast a new gt, cobra, or $30,000....heeheehee

We're only allowed to have one car here, so its the mustang. being in colorado...especially on the side of a mountain, we get some snow. I've driven in it a few time, and its definitely interesting especially with the st. 3 clutch. yeah, and I got 315's.
