If you have never used a Dremel tool for models, boy are you in for a treat! When I got mine everything went so much faster, it's a must have for scratchbuilders! Just be careful, one wrong move and slammo! A big ol' gouge in your assembly! Get some carbide steel grinders, they are great for plastic, like cutting butter with a hot knife.
AND BE SURE TO USE SAFETY GOGGLES! I don't wear them as often as I should, but flying chunks of plastic are more dangerous than you think(they hurt when they hit your eye!), and God forbid if you have a cut-off wheel fly apart!
