The sight of these wheels make me want to puke!

They really are some goofy metric measurement, not quite 15". I don't know if you can even get tires for the damn things any more.

For the record, those are the UGGLIEST TRX wheels I have ever seen. I thought the mustang ones were bad, but those are horrible.

Jeff

I wish I had a Pic of my Friends Expo, I think they were Worse than those!

am i the only one on stangnet that with the exception of a few 4 eye foxs from 85 jus truly discounts the fox body's existence prior 87? jus truly tasteless styling and awful performance. although a kid i used to know had an incredibly clean 85 gt that was like showroom new.

Heh...i've got an '85, wanna race? :D

In stock form ALL the Fox bodies were pretty tame in the performance department, it all comes down to what you put into them.

I had a set of those on my Stang before. They were old and hard compound so they let my car slide around like a Dukes of Hazard stunt car. but still had 50% tread.

The tire measurements were 220-55R390. 390mm is the rim size. 390mm/25.4mm = 15.3inches

All the shops told me that a tire would not stretch to get over a rim by .3 extra inches.

I was going to chuck them up in a lathe and turn them down but then I decided that I did not want a bead flying apart during a hard cornering maneuver.

I left them in the JY because tires were impossible to find for those rims.

Now I rock Turbines on my Stang because I think they look great.

haha yes my car was a total turd before i built it up. race? hmmm. my car is apart right now. but when it is youd probably still beat me your car is quite quick right? lol i have a pretty basic trickflow hci set up with track heat spring upgrades an all supporting upgrades. its plenty fast for me. for now. one of my good friend who also has a 90 lx hatch like me is building a 347 with paxton novi 2000 so after driving and riding in his car ill be wanting more power for sure.

I was happy to hear you say Turbines instead of hearing 4 Lug Cobra Rs!!

haha i jus checked your cardoman 85 ss 302 coupe. your mine lets race! lol get some heads on that bad boy.

LOL, i figured you'd see that. I'll bracket race anyone...i can run 14.7s in my sleep, best is 14.25 and i ran it back to back twice but i know i can pedel it to an easy 14.7 because i've done it 3 in a row on several occasions. I'm pretty consistant with a 5 speed :D

Oh, and i've got some '69 351W heads that are ported and polished to hell and back if i ever get around to getting them on.
