The swaps begin...

well guys, ive finally started my project...im doing a t-5 swap(from a c4) and rack n' pinnon steering, along with a LSD, battery relocation, cleanup, and many other little things.
we pulled the engine and tranny last night and moving onto other things tonite. thanks for everybodys help in deciding what things to do and what options i have.
if anybody has any suggestions, tips, tricks ect on any of these swaps to make them easier, quicker, better or whatever...let me know. ill take all the info you can dish out!

first pic

heres the first picture.... is after about 6 hours of work....
we have engine pulled, tranny pulled, driveshaft, all the steering including column and s/b. all the wiring in engine compartment has been sorted out and cleaned up....another process that has begun is building a wiring harness because my wiring is a mess.
and if you notice....the garage im doing this in is quite small. so its been alot of fun

Here's a tip - you might want to focus on individual projects rather than tearing everything apart at once - i.e., get your steering done and straightened out before you start on the rear end... You may put yourself in a position to waste a lot of time when you're reassembling remembering how things go together... and what the heck did I do with that screw?... and what's this part for?

im doin that in a way...im not doing the rear end yet intill she's driveable again. i pulled the steering, motor, trans and wiring out of the front because i wanted to sand everything down and repaint the compartment. interior work will also start as soon as i have to install the new clutch pedal.
shes a daily driver, and my only one at that, so i dont have much time to spend doing one thing at a time, even thou thats probably the better way.

update

well...im still workin on here...this project is taking a lil longer than expected due to delemmas and parts being out of stock.
i have all my parts sitting here waiting to go in, except for my TCP rack and pinion...they are laggin big time(part out of stock)
i just painted the engine, i think i maybe got carried away...tellme what you think.
