just wondering but how did you rotate ur ur maf.....like 90 degress with repsect to what?

93tealterror- stand in front of your car with the hood up. you'll notice the maf has the electrical connector on the top at the 12 o'clock position. turn the meter clockwise 90* to the 3 o'clock position (electrical connector now toward the engine)

sleeper89,,you are 100% correct,I made a misprint!! I turned it a full 180 degrees,,the meter is at 6:00 now!!--sorry

Thanks for clearing that up, Ive had a rich condition that wont allow me to pass emissions so maybe this will help. What exactly is the idea behind turning it?

Im not sure,like I said it was a brand new maf,and when I put it in the normal position,it ran like garbage!! So instead of putting my old one back on,I tried this and it worked great!! I probably should send it back to be recalibrated!! And it definitly helped the air/fuel mixture,,the pipes arent black anymore.
