I'm applying for a "credit card" to purchase a TV from Crutchfield. Usually I would say to just save the money and don't use credit but the sale is too good to pass up and I'm ready for a HDTV for my 360. After answering the questions by the crutchfield lady, she says that the response is pending and I have to call the credit company. I call them and they ask me some questions about my identity: Do I know ___________ (my mom). How old is she? What was the last car I financed blah blah blah.

After I answered all the questions about my own life, the dude says I've been rejected and will get a letter in the mail.

Not rejected over credit but over identity.

Yeah, I get them in the mail and I rip them up and throw it away. The only reason I was thinking about this one is b/c it is no interest until 2008. I'll pay the TV off by March of 2007 so it would be like paying straight cash. I'm not into the whole buy something and pay twice its worth b/c of interest.....except for my house payment.
