I know I dont post often but I know to come here for honest opinions. Im thinking about selling my Cobra. I have done a few things to this car to lower its value as a Cobra. First off. 1994 Crystal white cobra with black cloth interior. Interior is a 8.5/10 while the exterior is a 7/10. Carbureator swap. 5 speed. JUST REBUILT (about 30 miles ago) 302. Mod list includes;
-All forged internals with moly rings
-Custon grind cam
-Roush 200 heads with 64cc combustion chambers
-Harland Sharp 1.6 rr
-Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
-NEW ProForm 750 Carb
-NX wet kit (not sprayed on yet)
-Deleted A/C and P/S
-NEW Roush billet alternator bracket with GM one wire Alt
-NEW Ford Racing polished valve covers
-BRAND NEW (30 miles) King Cobra clutch

-BRAND NEW Weld draglites 15x8 rear and 15x3 front
-BRAND NEW MT ET Radials 325/50/15 rear and BRAND NEW front tires
-10 gallon fuel cell
-Battery relocation kit in the trunk with a BRAND NEW 1000 cranking amp battery
-Converted to push button start
-Electric fan on toggle switch
-No radio (have a toggle switch pannel there now for fan and 2 other open
toggles and my push start is there too
-BRAND NEW Lakewood 90/10s on the front
-Full length subframe connectors.
As you can see this car is practically new in the drive line dept. All this stuff has been done within the past 3 months with the exception of the engine bieng rebuilt about 30 miles ago. Before the rebuild, it ran a best of 7.99 @ 92 in the 1/8th mile with a 75 shot of juice. Its an easy 11.5-11.7 1/4 mile car. I've come into other personal things that will probably force me to sell the car. My friends and I have put a lot of hours in the car to get where it is and even though I have messed up the car as a collector so to say, I love it. I would never have my race car any other way but to carb it. So much easier and cleaner. But granted on what you have read, what do you think I could get out of it. I dont have any pics of it to post yet, sorry
