heres a link to anodize

this one uses a fabric dye rem you can also mix dye to make custom colors.

http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/anodize.shtml

This is for smaller stuff but if you up the power you can use a larger vat.

I've done this on a number of things mainly bike parts though as there all usually pretty small.

I thought about making a few things for my car but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Well here's where I stand on these.

I think I'm going to make my own. I just purchased a powder coating setup.
(I had planed on buying one of these anyway)

I stoped by my buddies shop on the way home and got him to let me use his exhaust bender this weekend.
So I'm going to fab these myself.

Basicly except for paint my car is done.
New interior
New motor
New trany
new tires and rims

Being I dumped the EFI I don't have as much stuff under my hood as the most of you.
Basicly I'm shooting for filling in the empty looking space now.

Didn't mean to start a flame war over some hoses.
I guess to each is own.
However the way I look at it after sinking all the bucks I have in this thing a 100 bucks is nothing.

Although I do see making them myself a better value.
+ who knows if I figure it out I might beable to toss a couple sets to those that are interested way cheaper than 100 bucks a set

Dude engine is totally immaculate. Nice work!
Are you mostly chromed or polished?

Tim, I just checked out your site and your motor is amazing as well Nice to see other people have major detail issues like me.

We need to start a "Polished Motor" thread for all of us. These motors are all a work of art.

Thanks! Paul (ALMOST STOCK) is a really good friend of mine, so I like to give him a hard time. We always joke around because it seems like neither of us can ever take good pics of our own car, but the pics I took of his came out pretty good. I never have any luck of taking pics of my own car. He was the one who gave me the polishing/detailing/welding the engine bay up/hiding wires bug. I am hoping to have it put back together real soon, like the next 3 weeks.

Paul's car really is a work of art! It stays clean all of the time, and he drives the heck out of it. That's what they are for... right?

I'd say 90% of what you see is polished aluminum.
I'd also like to thank you for your complement knowing you've done the same time consuming work with yours as I have with mine.
For those who haven’t seen 94SC50 motor before take a look.

Yeah Yeah Yeah. you took that pic.of my car and you also drove my car for the day so I'd think the least you could do was take a decent pic of my car since I never have. Thanks man
