thinking about an engine swap

Got in a car wreck april 10 and have been out of work since then. I was in the back seat and the person that was driuvings insurance company is givin me the money I missed out on from work and some pain and suffering money. My mustang has about 130000 miles on it and isn't in too good of shape. I saw a mach 1 engine with transmission on ebay for about 4 grand. I'm technically inclined so was wondering if its too big of a job to take on myself or pay someone to do it. And if I went that route how much would it cost to get that done??

if you have the know-how, do it yourself. you'll get charged an arm and a leg to do it. since it's a mod engine, it won't be too difficult.

hmm, mach 1 engine... need a new hood ,4-valve uses a different wiring harness, (not sure about the ECU, I think the 4 vavle motor use a different unit). Fuel pump?? someone help here, dont the cobras have a different fuel pump??

anyway, mostly small things, sounds like a cool project. Good luck.
