What happens if you run a larger fuel than nitrous jet?

As in you run a fuel jet for a 125 or 150 shot on a 100 shot nitrous pill. That would seem like you are garanteed safe, if not rich there.

Most kits jet their kits on the rich side to begin with. If you have a handheld tuner and have end user adjustability, you could add fuel that way.

As for recommendations on a good kit to buy, I have this kit from HarrisSpeedworks.com... Harris Speed Works :: EFI Nitrous Kits :: Ford Vehicles :: HSW Wet Nitrous Kits :: Sudden Impact Series :: HSW Sudden Impact Single Nozzle Wet Nitrous Kit (MODULAR MOTOR)

Also, a purge kit can also help to alleviate some of the stress on the n2o solenoid. I purge my system after I open the bottle and again right after I shut the bottle. This way it doesn't leave any pressure on the solenoid plunger while not in use.

My NOS Sniper wet kit came with the WOT switch, arming switch, etc. Paid $340 dollars for it at my local shop, then spent about another 300 making it safe - purge solenoid/valve, window switch

+1 I was lucky and got it last January for $289.

I'm a cheap bastard and went the cheap route. Bottle warmers, purge valves, etc. are nice, but add them up with the somewhat expensive (but nice) NX etc. kits, and all of a sudden nitrous is no longer cheap. To the op, if you don't powershift, you'll probably be ok without a window switch, however a window switch is a good thing to have and it is the best nitrous accessory.

Also to the op, a 100 shot is (relatively) safe if you install 1 heat range colder plugs gapped down to at least .042 and run a full tank of 92 octane. Change your fuel filter more often.

you dont want to run the bigger fuel jets, it will be too rich and make the same or maybe less power than a 90 shot...dont be afraid to run a 125shot, like i said before just run 1-2 step colder plugs, 93 octane gas and make sure you have clean fuel filter..it will be fine and A LOT of fun...

91 is the highest octane in AZ, also i can get a NX EFI kit with purge valve, blowdown tube, pressure guage, bottle heater and some other small crap from AM for about 710 bucks, is this good? id still need a WOT switch and a Window switch tho

can a dyno place tune with my diable hand held tuner for nitrous?

i think a 100shot with a proper tune is safe.
jus make sure you get a window switch in case you miss shift....cause if you....BOOOM!!!

Where do you get a window switch for use on a DIS car? I was looking at some window switches and all the ones I find say "not for use with D.I.S.".

I bought a kit for the 351w I'm building for my 90, but I'm thinking of running it on my 04 GT until then.

I was thinking activation switch with a W.O.T. switch, a fuel pressure switch and window switch 3k-6k, to make it as safe as possible.

IMHO, you should ditch the diablo poo and get an xcal, if thats not an option, then find a reputable shop to take some timimg out, with 91octane you might want to go with 2 step colder plugs and slight timing retard if you are going to run a 125, the 100 shouldnt be an issue on stock timing and colder plugs
