That car looks bad ass. Seriously I would go wingless or 03/04 Spoiler on it and ditch the wing you have now. IMO it just doesn't flow with the car at all.

Well, I made a deal with a member to trade the blower unit for a Mach 1 hood already painted DSG, and a full shaker setup with custom brackets for a 2V. I figure eventually, if I really feel the need for boost, I'll get a Mongoose kit or something like that which doesn't interfere with the shaker.

And yellow, I have to disagree with you on the wings you selected. To me, that car has a ton going on in the front, big hood, shaker, big bumper, etc. It has added bulk with the side exhaust, and then the ass looks all anemic without a good size wing on it. IMO it looks dis-proportioned. Wingless or a cobra wing both would have that same effect. The Steeda wing beefs up the rear, looks aggressive, and will fit in perfectly with what I have overall planned for the car. Eventually I'll be able to show you.

I dono i say he got a good deal if you ask me. His blower needs to much work to make fit and he would have to pay someone to do this. If the guy who he traded might do the labor him self so to him its a good deal. The Mach 1 hood is sweet and if you wanted the hood on average it'll cost $800 for the parts then more to get his stock hood modified to the parts then $500 on paint. I'm sure his supercharger cost him maybe 1k or so.

The only bad is if he ever does supercharge, the ram air eventually becomes useless unless you get a kit that supports it.

It's about an even trade. The hood is a real Mach 1 hood, it's already painted to match the car, nobody makes a kit to mount real Mach 1 hardware on a 2V anymore, he made custom brackets to mount the shaker. I did pay about 1100 for the blower shipped, and it's a very limited blower. Seeing as the car is going to be a DD for another few years, it doesn't really need a blower yet. And when it does, I'll have a car ready for a blower, IE- forged built motor, full suspension and chassis work, etc...And then I'll add in a well known kit that has options.

well man you can always sell the blower and then build for NA and if you want some more power just not all the time then spray it and you will be plenty happy. I love all motor cars too i just wanted some more power all the time.

but do what is going to make you happy man thats the most important thing

I dunno about nitrous, I'd be to eager to hit the button. I'm going to build a mean N/A motor setup over time, eventually end up with something just begging for a blower. When the time comes, I'll add a vortech, or maybe a procharger. The shop near me is big on those.

Yeah I rember the guy you traded with when he posted the pics, and said he wanted to get rid of it. Hell we all told him to keep it, but good for you bro!
