Ive owned a few fox bodies and a 97 cobra. But too lazy to search. I like the new body style and wanted some opinions on them for a every day driver with maybe some mild upgrades for fun. Whats the difference between a Deluxe and Premium GT?? My local dealer was telling me saying i would spend 30-33K on a new GT i told him to go **** himself my 97 Cobra was less then that. Thanks guys.

What the Fuvk himself?? No it was just a figure of speech. but this dealership put a 5k market value mark up on the car. They said the GT's a hot seller and the higher price reflected that. So i went somewhere else.

I paid $25,300 for mine. Deluxe package with Shaker 500, Anti-Theft, & IUP. Nobody should have markups by now, as sales have slowed down.

The only difference between Premium & Deluxe is that Premium comes with leather & Shaker 500. I just didnt want leather so I started with Deluxe.

I drive my 06 everyday and it's awesome. We've had descent snow here in WV and the car has done excellent in the snow. Its a very comfortable car, and has plenty of power on tap. I would buy the car 1,000 times over again. They respond great to minor mods too. I added a tuner & JLT CAI to mine and picked up a ton of power and it drives just like stock. But with those parts and the 93 Octane tune my mpg went from 22 stock to over 23 mpg with the tuner/CAI.

Hey thanks Pro Mod. I did test drive one later that day it was a Stage 1 Rousch but essentially a GT. The new cars are alot smoother then the foxbodies and even the SN-95's. Dealer said he can get me into a 5 speed Premium GT for 27,500 but i want to pay a couple thousand less.
