I have 8" wide stock wheels off a 98 GT SOOOO I should be able to put 1.5" wheel spacers on them and it will be the same as having 9.5" wheels , Right? I shouldn't have any clearance problems should I. That is still under the 10.5" wheels that alot of you guys have. Talk to me, I'm about to order some from MM unless someone knows where to get some good hubcentric, high quality ones cheaper>>>

MM has excellent reputation. I purchased some spacers from Pacifica Performance but I think 1" was a wide as they go. Good luck!

It wont be the same as having 9.5" wide wheels. Its just gonna push the wheel out 1.5 inchs. It will most likely look stupid...

i don't know if i'd say it would look stupid. The most i'd go would be 1" but there is a thread with pics about the sizing question and 1.5 was a little big for me but it worked. Spacers make the wheels flush on our cars.

EDIT: Actually i meant 1.25 was a little far for some people. 1.5 might be a little too wide. Check this thread out http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=464444&highlight=spacers

It'll be fine. A 1.5" spacer should put the edge out about where an 11" rim would have it. I've run 18x11's on my '95, and they fit fine. I've also run 25mm spacers before with no problems at all.

I ran 1" MM spacers with 98 Cobra, an 8" wheel....that 1" will put them right in line with the fronts...Some dude gave me some 1 3/4"...they looked like a Dukes of Hazard set-up....NAH...that wont work...
Stick with the 1" in my opinion....heres a look/see on the 1"
