Looking at buying another Mustang and could be this weekend. As far as my plans for the car I want to go a diffrent route from the last one I had. I did the supercharger route before but now I want to build a nasty N/A combo set up for the track. I was thinking of a high compression 347 w/ a nice tranny/clutch set up.

Just wondering what those of you w/ 331-347's are putting out for power w/ your set up and what your track times are if any.

Just installed my new 336 c.i.d. engine in my 85G.T. No track times yet but I do have the dyno results. The car dyno'ed 387 H.P. AND 362 Ft Lbs. of Torque to the rear wheels. These are N/A Numbers. Just a single 4v carb set-up. The block is bored .060 over hence the 336 #. Looking to go 11.50's with this set-up.

347 here..10.5:1 comp, tko600 trans, mcloud clutch, aluminum flywheel, and d.s. rebuilt trac lock moser axles and 4.10's, ran 12.34@ 114 mph na....and 11.72 with a 75 shot with a 2.0 60'.....and untuned at the time....now its tuned havent ran it yet picked up 15 rwhp and 25 ft rwtrq..in na form with the tune....this is in a vert that weighs well over 3700 lbs without me in it which is y the times are soo poor, car puts down 337 rwhp and 379 rwtrq...na and 397 rwhp with the 75 shot and 455 rwtq currently have 100 shot jets in right now...car currently down cause of the torque...this is what torque does to evem aftermarkets control arms

Just curious....why stick with a 302 based stroker???? If I had it to do all over I would go with a 351 based stroker.

Hey lxwants12's, how many runs did you have on those control arms? I have never seen or heard of that happening to CA's.

See signature. My combo is with 10.8:1 pump gas and a hydro-roller cam. Up the compression and run race fuel and go solid roller and you can push into the 9s if that's what you're looking for.

well Id deff like to run mid 11's on all motor. I want to build the suspension as well but I figure I can do it w/ a 347 w/ some good ported heads and intake and a cam that sets off the combo well.
