Friend has a 2000 4x4 4.6 F-150. He is wanting something to make it a lil quicker and just more enjoyable. Do you think he should get a chip for it or a programmer? Thanks

An EXCAL2 would help. A blower and EXCAL2 would help more! The EXCAL2 will be useful on a 4X4 becausse you can adjust a lot of stuff including the tire size to calibrate the speedo. Also, you have full control over the tranny.

I use Woodbine Motorsports in Maryland. JJ is great and knows his stuff. I hooked up with him through the national lightning owners club.

I had a lifted 2001 f150 and the programmer was great. If you combo the tune with gears it would be like a whole new truck. The most noticeable thing would be changing the tranny pressure and shft points.

When I had my truck I was on the FordTruckWorld forums. They were very helpful
