Alright, i installed a set of FRPP shortys and the person i purchsed them from already had the EGR tube hole capped off and said to just make a plate to go where the EGR valve was and it'll be alright aside from the C.E.L., so i did all that and now im wonder ing what i do with the DPFE sensor, since its only purpose was the EGR tube do i just get rid of that too? and what do i do with the vaccum lines that used to conect to the EGR valve? anyone with any info i greatly appriciate the help, hopfuly i can get her runnin by tomarow afternoon and get some pics or video for you guys........

i bought a delete kit from randy stitchcomb (sp?) from over on MD & it capped off the tube on the headers. then i jsut took a little rubber cap & put it over top of the egr & that's all i did on mine

I used to live in Ann Arbor MI. I attended Pioneer highschool until i was in 10th grade... used to walk to Kroger to work for whopping $4.25/hr.
good times..

ya i can't help u on the EGR thing whatsoever. Sorry dude.
Just looking to ur location, brought back memories

Go to modulardepot.com and talk to Randy. Get the plate part of the egr kit and you are good. Take the whole sensor off of your intake and the plate will block the opening off at the plenum for you. Cleans up the bay nicely also. And you will throw a SES code until you get the egr shut off by a tuner.
