I just put on my cobra brakes and bolted them all up then came across this site: http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/

It says you need to modify your spindles (step 4) by grinding them down. I didnt do this and they seemed to bolt up just fine?

Did all of you do this step?

Also when I spin my rotor it has a pretty firm contact with my pads, is this normal? keep in mind my MC is out of the car. It wont be with contact once I get it all blead etc right?

don't stress man, just reread the site. it states that mod is only when putting on 99-up GT PBR calipers, not cobra PBR calipers.

Yeah, dont sweat it. The contact with the pads like that is normal (at least mine does it and I've never had an issue) an I also didn't grind any spindle down and mine fit perfect. What I will tell you to watch out for is to make sure your break lines are clear of the wheel! I put some SS brake lines on my car and one of them was bent in such a way that it rubbed on the inner part of my rim and wore a hole through it. Luckily I was driving around in the bank parking lot when I lost my breaks amnit:
