Thoughts on 245/45/18 tires for 1.5 inch lower Mustang

I recently lowered my car about 1.5 inches with Eibach-Pro kit. I think 245/45/18 tires will easily fit in front based on some sigs in this forum. I've seen 245/45/17 tires in front on 2 inch dropped Mustangs.

I want tires that are 1 inch taller than stock for the following reasons:
1) It will lessen the gap between the tire and the fender by 1/2 inch. I think this will look awesome.
2) It will increase my ground clearance 1/2 inch. This is still 1 inch lower than stock.

The disadvantages are:
1) Higher price for the tires and rims.
2)Faster wear on the brakes and shocks.
3) Less power feel due to less torque multiplication.

I was thinking of getting 245/45/18 tires front and 275/40/18 tires rear.

If I get 255/45/18 front, and 285/40/18 rear I will be able to use a spare from a new Mustang(05-07)

Any thoughts?

If you get 45's on an 18 then you shouldn't have lowered it in the first place


and if your negatives outnumber the positives why do it? even though it's your car and you can do whatever you want
