Throttle actuator

I have been advised that my throttle actuator needs to be replaced. Has anoyone else had to have this done?

However, the only way that this can be done is by replacing the entire throttle body from Ford, which includes the actuator. Living in the UK, this is a very expensive option.

Any performance throttle body does not include the actuator. Does anyone have any advice with regards to purchasing the throttle actuator alone.

I'm assuming it's a new stang, so shouldn't warranty cover it?

According to Ford, the warranty is void on vehicles exported from the US.

call a salvage yard and see how much it is for a used one. if the car is in the salvage yard already, most likely it was wrecked and the TB should be good and have low miles.
