Throttle body cable

So, evidently, bbk theottle bodies have a tendency to be misaligned with the stock throttle cable/bracket? Anyone have experience with handling this?. Thinking of just slotting the bolt holes to allow it to slide further forward.

Currently holding high idle after driving hard and I’ve narrowed it down said cable/bracket after some research.

So when you changed the throttle body did you do a base idle reset?

I did. And I’ve done several after. Even when I manipulate the throttle cable under the hood it hangs just under 2k for a while then settles down.

Just slotted the bracket to make it adjustable but no help. Guess I’ll be moving to a new throttle cabke now.

What about when you just disconnect the throttle cable, how does it respond?
