throttle body help

well...i'm almost done installing my TB. I'm just having a problem with one part...right above the throttle cable there's another cable with a steel head and exposed braided wiring. When I removed that cable, it came out pretty fast so I don't recall how it fit in there. In any case, I'm having a hard time placing that cable back in. Any tips? Thanks!

You may have the purposes of your cables confused. Sounds like that's actually the throttle cable - the end is shaped like a barrel? The other cable with a plastic end that snaps in place is the cruise control.

The throttle cable winds through the groove in the plastic piece on the throttle body. You'll pull the cable under and through the groove.
