In the summer I plan on finally putting my cobra intake on ( purchased in early December ). I was looking at the stock intake while i has retighting my header bolts, and i wondered how are you soposed to remove those studs without damaging the treads . There is no small notch that they give you to help remove them at least i don't see one. any help is appreciated

can't you just use two nuts tight against each other and use a wrench on the inner nut? that should work fine, unless i misunderstood your question.

I was thinking the same thing as I will need to transfer my stock ones over to my polished Cobra intake. Greg-that is exactly how I thought of getting them off. I see no other way to do it.
