Throttle Issue?

Today, while passing an 18 wheeler in third gear, my baby started bucking pretty wildley. I let off the gas immediatly but everytime i'd give it any gas, it would rock back and forth pretty bad. I talked to my friend with an 05 and he says this has happened to him as well. Thoughts?

that is most likely the fuel pump tsb.

I too have had this problem. When I down shift to pass from forth to third and get on the loud pedal fast the car bucks. I was told it was the torque management system I tried it again with the traction control off and it didn't to it.

Dundy...the tcs "kicks in" to prevent wheel spin. Not sure how fast you are going from fourth to third, but I doubt it's the tcs working (unless you have a lot of mods?). One thing about the fuel pump tsb is that the problem usually only occurs after a "long cruise", such as highway driving at the same speed for awhile. Hope this helps.

From what i have been told is that the torque management system runs in conjunction with the traction control, and monitor the throttle blade angle if any of the values are out, the engine will start to shut down cyl. until the value are correct now it all happens in milliseconds. thanks to drive by wire. Had it happen today uneven road rear suspension unloaded and lose of power. But if my condition continues i too will look into the fuel pump.

and yes wheel spin at 95 would be priceless!!!!

mine does the same when down shifting and nailing it. Its not the TCS kicking it, its the fuel pupm getting bubbles around it, but im too lazy to take it in.
