Throttle Problems?

I have a 2006. Sometimes when I am at a stop or going slower, I'll hit the gas and the car kinda jerks. It puts you back into the seat some. It almost reminds me of driving a stick and when you're going too slow and hit the gas it jerks some, but it has an auto trans. It has been doing it for probably a couple of years, but not very often until recently. Now it's doing it everyday at least a couple of times. No dash lights are coming on. Could it be a throttle issue?

I don't think I have. Is the only way to check it by taking it to the dealer? I am getting my oil changed tomorrow at Goodyear. Maybe I can have them check.

If it's still under warranty and fluid level is a warranty item then yes.

If you are not sure (I know I'm not, my Stang is 30 years old), wait for one of these other guys to chime in.

I'm pretty sure that you don't have a dip-stick. Fluid level is checked through the fill hole in the transmission. Any quick-change oil place should also be able to check it for you if you don't want to make a dealer appointment or do-it-yourself.
