Hello pals!
I have a 1990 GT with the standard ol' 302/T5, but my problem is I am now getting a squeak from my transmission. When I start the car up cold it sounds like the throwout bearing is spinning and not disengaging, then when the car heats up it starts to squeak fairly awful.
Its ungodly loud when I have my foot off the clutch completely, and I can get it to tone down some by putting some pressure on the pedal, but it can be heard regardless.
I am pretty sure it is in fact the TOB, but what is it that would cause this? Bent fork? Pivot ball on bellhousing? Any ideas would be appreciated!
