Throwout bearing Knock??????

Well, after every 3 or 4 times I push in the clutch after some city driving, or almost everytime I push the clutch pedal in after like a 10-15 mile run without changing gears, I hear a loud pop/knock noise, and can feel the pop come through the clutch pedal? Is it the throwout bearing? Is it normal, or is it failing? Or is it some other problem?

Usually the TOB makes a chirping noise

if it goes away when you push the clutch in it ticks at low speeds or rpms with the clutch out its the throw out bearing welcome to the last year+ of my life after 4 TB replacments... guess what its still not right... ford couldnt repair a can of soup.

Yeah, I've gone through my fair share of throwout bearings as well. SpectorV, mine is now acting exactly how you described ... it's noisy only when clutch is engaged at low rpms. When I press lightly on the pedal, the noise stops. I have an adjustable cable setup ... do I need to make the pedal tighter or looser? Sounds like tighter because when I put pressure on it, the noise goes away. Almost like there is slack and the fork is slapping the bearing against the clutch fingers.

If I DO need to replace my bearning, which do you recommend switching to? I have a McLeod in there now and supposedly that was supposed to be the best? Thanks,
