This past winter i swapped out my old stock heads that had broken valve cover bolts and put in my buddies stockers. They had about 30k less on them than my car, they had approximatley 95k on them. Anyway the heads still had the original springs and rockers but i used my original pushrods. i can hear a ticking coming from the driver side valve cover, when im on the highway it actually sounds more like a whistle, the whistle goes away when i slow down and turns back into more of a ticking noise, does this sound familiar to anyone??? Im hoping that all ill have to do is tighten down the rockers "i didnt have a torque wrench at the time i did the rockers" so that could be it, what else you think it could be?? It never made this sound before! Its not real bad either just noticable, doesnt seem to effect its performance at all either!!
