Ticking sound after washing the engine

I need your help guys, this sound is driving me crazy. At first, I only heard it just after hosing down the engine. It went away after the engine warmed up. Last time I washed the engine, it didn't went away and I can't stand it anymore !! Guess it was the last time I washed my engine

I know it doesn't come from the engine itself cause removing the accessory belt cures the problem. I spun all the pulleys by hand to check for bearing wear. The water pump one was pretty rough so I bought a new water pump. The tsik tsik tsik didn't went away. I then installed some of my mother's 02 GT pulleys with no success. Unfortunately, they can't all be swapped cause there are some differences between 99 and 02.

I don't know what to think anymore ? Could it be the belt ? I really don't want to spend 60$ an hour to get it fixed at the dealership...

could be a tiny crack in one of the exhaust manifolds

Can't be, the sound goes away if I remove the belt.

You should have NEVER NEVER hosed down the engine. You NEVER hose down the engine or even steam clean it. Especially on a 2 and a 3 year old car. It doesn't need steam cleaning. You can damage the wiring and the engine when you steam clean it. You probably cracked something like the manifold or the block or damaged the wiring. Good luck trying to fix it. Be ready to pay big bucks to do some major repairs.

It could be the idler pully. Your fine if you power wash a cold motor. Under any circumstance do not power wash a hot motor for that will only crack parts and may cause major damage! I power wash my motor every 2 months or so and I have no problems.
