  • headlight bulbs replaced with Silverstars - kept the ones from my 2004 GT to use (keep "stock" bulbs for spares)
  • grille delete

  • rear view mirror installed (2/6/09)
  • one touch down passenger window (2/6/09)
  • exhaust tips polished (3/10/09)

i am heading to timmy's house this weekend to give him a hand. hope to knock out the bolded items. would do more if he had deeper pockets.

will post up some pics of the progress and of the chicken wings he will be making.

Well, the MM Strut Tower Brace was a complete pain to install. I'm sure it is a great piece of hardware, but wow. The installation could be done without the crazy adventures MM puts you through.

That's the only update I have to the list from this weekend. It took much longer than expected and we ran out of [already pressed] time.

More to come...

MMs instructions are useless. it says to tie your hood to the steering wheel?? what kind of tip is that?

ugg, looks like a solid day of buffing is needed to bring back the luster. maybe next time out i will have more time to devote to the project.

Where is a good place to pick up a cowl cover? ....other than the Ford dealership parts counter, that is. The one on the car now is faded, brittle, and cracked in a few spots.
