How hard is it to change the timing belt on a 1999 Expedition 4.6, AWD? BTW could the timing chain create like a ticking noise on these trucks? My friend asked me if i could do it, shes always there for me so i wanna know how hard it is to change.. Thanks guys
If you never have done this DONT its more complex than our cars I have a 2000 expedition and I had someone else do it for me .That was the only thing I didnt want to do it had a slight ticking noise I know someone that tried to do it themselves ended up buying a new motor because he jumped a tooth and the valves hit and they all got messed up it was almost the same price to fix the valves and the heads for a new motor
