Hey need some advice. I am putting in the new heads (PI) and am to the timing chain install. I marked the chains and all and installed them easy. I went ahead and rotated the crank shaft with the chains tight to turn the cams and the pistions to see if any valve tapping or lock up would occur. To my surprise everything was fine
The only thing I noticed is after a complete cycle (16 crank rotations), the markings that I made on the timing chain and the cam/crank did not match back up. They are off one link. Now both the cam and crank are off by one link in the same directions so techincally its still the same number of links between them as when I insatlled them, its just that both chains are off by that one link. Is there a problem with this?
