So Im getting my stuff rounded for the assy on my 331... got a new FRPP waterpump and figure I'd dry run it on the timing cover since just pulled the cover to replace the seal...low and behold she dont fit as the impeller hits????
Seems I have a Fox timing cover...

I read something recently on Explorer covers being the same?? Any info would be great...or better yet if someone has one to sell, 95 or Ex..
Im leaving my motor intact when I pull it instead of stripping it down.

Thanks.....

You can use an explorer timing cover...I bought mine off ebay and it worked fine. If I remember correctly there is one extra bolt hole that winds up getting blocked off my the gasket.

Thanks guys... I thought the Fox pump is a different rotation than ours ? I would also think I might have alignment issues with pulley's??

yeah, you would have to change to the fox accessory setup. just get yourself the right timing cover.
