lines up with the straight edge.in your pic,that would be about 26 degrees BTDC.factory timing is 10 BTDC.warm car to operating temp,shut car off,remove spout,connect timing light, start car,check timing,adjust as needed,shut car off,reinstall spout,start car,check timing to ensure it is advancing.
