I'm still trying to get my engine timed right... still occasionally getting some hard starting. Generally, it happens when the engines warm... if its just sitting in the garage over night, in the morning it'll start right up, but when I... say... turn it off to get gas, it usually resists starting when im ready to leave. I repaired some corroded wires and that helped, but its still not perfect.
The problem is that my Professional Products aftermarket balancer's timing marks don't line up with the stock pointer. It has 3 sets of marks and none of them seem to line up. Rusty67 and I timed it by ear and got it fairly close, we think, but before I run off to get it dynoed I'd like to be a bit more sure that its right.
Where can I find pointers for sale online? Is there an easy way to tell what I need?
