timing with supercharger

[88DECH]

hey i always heard that with a supercharged car to bump down the timing. Is this true?...if factory timing is 10* then would i set it to bout 8*....or should i advance the timing with the supercharger?....i am running 5lbs of boost and want optimal performance with the best gas mileage

Have you done a forum search? We just covered this less than a week ago.

You need to take about 6-8 degrees out of total timing so set it to about 4 if you don't have no boost retard like your supposed too.
