i wanted to have my taillights tinted out but i did not want to do anything permanent. so i went to home depot and they had this gila anti glare smoke window tint, that is like a static cling thing. it was only $10 so i picked it up. it was really easy to use and i think it turned out pretty good. it took me about an hour to do both taillights. here are some crappy night pics

you get a lot of it, it is a 3ft x 6.5ft roll. i used about 1/10 of it and that was only because i messed up about three times when i first started. they say to use this solution that they also offer (or some soap and water mix) to put on the lense before the vinyl to make it easier to move around and get the bubbles out, but i tried that on the first one and i could not get it to stick with the solution. so i just skipped it and put it on dry and it stuck way better. also i had to cut them shorter lengthwise because you have to like stretch it a little.

The solution is so you can work with it once its on, and it take 3 days to cure.

What do you guys think about tinting the tails on a Deep Forrest Green GT with black one piece projector headlights (which I plan on smoking later), black side exhaust, and the taillight trim painted black. I plan on getting black 2000 Cobra R rims later down the road too.
