hey guys i havent burnt out in my stang yet and i was wondering if you could give me any tips i have a stock aod, but i also have gobs of horsepower and torque. some friends said just to power brake and hold the brake to the floor and eventually it would be making so much power that the tires would start spinning, any other ideas, i heard that power braking is hard on your car so please help

Just press the gassy.... I did a burn show in the huge econoline by pressing the gas all the way at first then releasing it to about 1/2 throttle and the tires were smoking pretty good

you dont have to hold the brake to the floor. just hold the brake enough so the car doesnt roll and than hit the gas full throttle and then let off a little just to keep the tires spinning

youll be in control as long as you keep the car straight....its not hard at all....but just remember when you let off the gas the car is gonna catch and move

i didnt even see you had a blower...it shouldnt be too hard for you to do a burn out...just come to a stop and floor it.

if you cant control a car spinning the back tires dont even try it. or if you do do it where you cant hit any curbs or people.

You would think with all the stuff on that car he should be asking about how to prevent the tires from spinning. Should'nt that car be spinning the tires right off?

yeah it should... but i havent dragged it yet and i have snows on it right now. my near 400 hp daily driver has snows on it. i guess i should be able to do it fairly easy but i am always afraid if i stomp on the gas that something is going to break. and i have no more money to fix things, yet i still want to win and burnout

Go and buy a line-lock set up and save your rear brakes.

Hmmm... um, unless your gas pedal is so stiff that only arnold in his prime could push it down, then with the items you list as being on your car should spin them without any problems. I've driven several BONE stock mustangs, and never did i need help spinning tires, t5 or AOD. If your afraid of parts breaking, why do you even ask about burn outs? Just curious.

Ummm I dont want to sound mean, but if you have all that power and havent raced, or driven it hard, or done a burnout, maybe you should take it to a BIG lot and try it slowely. I mean I know girls who barely know what a gas pedal is that can do burnouts...

It amazes me the power some people have and have NO clue how to use it!

Ive got a few friends with some performance cars that have no clue how to burnout. Its pretty sad.

His whole sig is extremely vague for someone into Mustangs and has that much mods! Racing rims, and the supercharger is listed about 3/4s of the way down...

Im not calling BS because it could just be a young kid who bought the car and needs guidence, but who knows, LOTS of trolls these days!
