Will 275/40/17 on 17x9 rims cause any issues up front on a 2002 GT with stock suspension ie., rubbing, etc.?

My buddy has 275-40-17s and they have ever so slight rubbing on a really hard (I mean as far as it goes over as if making a U turn).

You can get rubbing on the sway bar. If its more of a cruiser than you should be fine, I do auto-x and open track events so I went with 255/45/17 in front.

275's all around and no problems rubbing. I do U turns a lot down her in Florida. Mostly to avoid all the old people driving down the street the wrong way.

They come on 03/04 cobras so im sure they will fit.

On my 97 I have 17x9s with 275/40/17s with lowering springs and they fit fine.
On my 18x10s im running 295/35/18s with no problems as well.

You will be fine with those tires
