tire height help!

will 275 60 15 tires fit on the rear of my stock height 89 lx?

i would say they will be way too tall. I ran 255/60/15 on my 86 with 5" backspace and they hit on even the slightest cornering. I'm running 265/50/15 now,but needed a 1/4" spacer

You need more like 275/40

ok cool, i am running 275 50 15s now and they only rub if i hit a rough bump. I am ordering tires online so i want to know for sure what will fit, and the 275 60 15s are alot cheaper

I had um, fit good, rubbed slightly in hard cornering. if you have stock gears you'll definatly feel a loss in power, due to decreased gearing

275/60/15's do fit, you'll have to massage the inner wheel well and roll the lip on the quarter, we run that size m/t drag radial on our 275 extreme radial car all stock suspension.
