guys im planning on running a 245/40/18 up front on 18x9 rim.... for the rears 18x10 i wanna geta 275 and up/35/18 but what affect would it be if i had a 275/40/18 in the rears? is it a good thing or a bad thing?

originally i wanted 245/40/18 up front but i'm soo glad i got 265/35/18.. even with the 265's there no rim protection.. Looks better as well.. I did 275/35/18 for the rear because its the stock tire diameter.. 275/40/18 will throw off your speedometer. 285/35/18 is close but taller than the stock diamter.

speedcal can adjust for 275/40/18's.. but why do that.. bigger tire is heavier, takes more power for the wheel to spin.. and its the same width as 275/35/18 which needs no speedcal adjustment. Just curious why

thats what 275/35 looks like on an 18x9.. more sidewall from a 275/40 will just make the rim look smaller

dang, your tire sizes are whack.

265/35/18's for the fronts and 295/35/18's for the rear..
