tire question..help

i have 245/45 tires on my car right now but i want to get a new pair for the back because there shot, i have a chance to get a nice pair of toyo T-1 S tires for 20 bucks with half tread life left but they are 255/45. some kid told me if i put the wider tires in the back it would mess up my ABS. is this true or not? because i really want these tires, thanks

The small difference in tire sizes here will have no effect on your ABS.

certainly won't mess up ABS... never even heard of that happeneing in because of tire size, unless it's like 315-25-19 tire size...

-I won't think twice about it.... my moto: if something bothers you on your car, either you need louder exhaust, or a louder stereo
