Do I need to run tubes on 26x10.5-15 MT et street tires? the ones that look like slicks.

If they are et streets then i do not believe so. The actual slicks its a good idea. I have seen peeps run without tubes in slicks aswell.

what is the reason for tubes? Im trying to get my car ready for the track for as little money as possible, but i still want to be safe.

on mt et streets you don't. It is, however suggested if you're actually going to use them for street use.

without tubes, air pressure leaks down gradually.

some run tubes incase your gonna run a really low tire pressure..... my buddy has that same set and there are great tires he cuts a consistant 1.4 with no problems just alwayz check your tire pressure check M.T website for base pressure they recoment running more air than most other brands

its all up to you, I personally have run them either way but notice a big difference in stability with the tubes on the high end!
