Weak sauce. One more thing, did you remove them because you have upgraded control arms or to save 4 pounds?They're there to help prevent wheel hop. Good aftermarket suspension pieces will negate the need for a quad shock. I don't run them, but my car is still around 230 hp at the flywheel, so I am far from overpowering anything.
You mentioned you did the whole suspension. So that's aftermarket rear contol arms as well? Some say they're not needed after better rear control arms, some say they still have wheel hop. If you still have the old rear arms and the washer trick doesn't work you can flip em and it should clear. Unless they're the kyb quads that are the same diameter all the way down.So do you think the quad shocks are not necessary? I dont know a lot about the suspension. I just got everything new and installed it. I only assumed they were necessary because they were on there lol.. But if they can come off I would def do that and when I get new rims I will got wider as well.
Lemme start over- the KYB's aren't the same all the way down but they're still too fat to flip I beleive. When people say flip em they're think of the style w out the dust cover on both ends. Look at the pics and compare.They are kyb but not same diameter. I haven't done the control arms yet. But going to. Can't decide which ones to get. Are the steeda ones worth the money

Gabriel sells oem style for like $25 each if you can't get the KYB's to fit and I doubt you'd notice a performance difference between the pair.Oooooohhhhh I see what you mean. Yea. Shoulda orderd te konis lol. Jk. But yea I was thinkit in my head it didn't see like it would make much difference if any lol.
