I'm planning to take my mustang down to get new tires tomorrow morning and am looking for tire size advice or recommendations. It's a 1991 LX 5.0 vert with the 5-lug conversion and lowering springs. Currently it has 245/45/r17 tires all the way around. My only problem is that the front ones rub the inside fender liner during hard turns. I cringe everytime I hear it. I'd like to keep the tires the same all the way around so that I can rotate them as needed. Mainly becuase this is my daily driver. Thanks

I ended up just sticking with the 245/45/17 tires.
Got new tires and brakes all the way around. Feels nice.

Makes a huge difference doesn't it? I was surprised how much better my car rode with tires that actually had tread

oh yeah, between the tires and the brakes, it's like driving a completely different car.
I'm planning to get my Autometer gauges, and new sway bar end links and bushings installed today as well. It's coming along.
