I've got 14x7 wheels with 4" backspace and 205/70s on my 67 and I'm looking to get some more tire. What can I fit on it?

You could put up to a 235 series tire on there. I dont know how they would look with a 14x7" wheel though. Are you sure they arent 14x6s??

235/55 might be a good choice

I had 245-50s on my 6 inch Shelby rims for some time.....but they did not like the fenderwells, but I think you have a little more backspace than I do so you never know.

My old tires on my '70 were 245/60 14s... no problem with those.

I am running the same rim on my 67 coupe. I have 215-60-14's on the front and 245-60-14's in the rear. They fill the wheel wells up quite nicely. I wouldn't go any bigger than 215's in the front for fear of rubbing on the frame rails when the wheels are cranked to one side.
