Going nuts. Trying to keep the stock 17x8 rims on my 2001 mustang gt. Anyone know if 2754017's will fit all around with no rubbing issues, and do they look ok on the car(all stock)? if not, i will go with 17x9 rims, is the 2754017 the biggest I can go with this rim with no rub issues?
thanks

275/40R17 will be ok on 17x8 wheel, but not for the front. It will rub in the front.
I'd go 255/40R17 up front

I have 275's all the way around on a stock 17x8 wheel and it looks good! They will work on the front, it barely rubs only if you turn the wheel as far to the right as it will go. It looks good with the meats on it though!

Ok I stand corrected. I've had 275s on my 17x8 wheels but only on the rear

I have 275s all the way around(I am sure of this) on 17x9s and the car is lowered and have no rub at all. So there should not be a problem for you to run 275s on your stock wheels.

Your handling may suffer a bit do to flex on the increased sidewall bulge. All depends on tire brand and stiffness.
