I have a 65 Conv. and I am currently running 205/70-14's on 14X5 SS Wheels all the way around. I want to go with wider wheels and tires on the rear. I want to run 14X7 SS Wheels on the rear but want to keep the Tire OD as close as possible to the OD of 205/70-14's which is 25.4" with a section width of 8.2". The Tire size that comes closest to this is a 245/60-14 at 25.6" OD with a section widthof 9.8 about 1.6" wider. Has anyone run a 245/60-14 on the rear of a 65? I need to know if a 245/60-14 will rub prior to purchasing these tires.
