Whats the width I can go at the most on a 15 x 10 in rim? 295?

I was thinking about getting the 325 nitto 555r but I dont think ill have adequate space in the rear if im correct...

Im trying to get a good DD tire without compromising too much... I like nittos but ive never put them on a rim this big.. so any suggestions would be nice

I dont think 325s would be a wise size at all (If it even fits)
The widest you'll want to go on a 10 inch rim safley is going to be 305

depends on the tire Nitto runs really skinny. BFG runs big. MT runs bigger.

my 295 BFG is wider than my buddies 315 nitto and my MT 305 is a lot wider than all of them.

dude...305. just..305, dont pay attention to anything else, forget everything you read other than this. 305 is the widest tire you'll mount on that.

I mean, i've heard of tires running wide for their size, but never by 10 millimeters, thats a totally diffrent size.

10 inch wheels...not bigger than a 305. 315 is perfect for a 10.5 inch wheel.

different brands measure COMPLETELY different. put a set of Nittos beside a set of BFGs of the same size. the nittos will be at least 1/2" narrower than the BFG's.

i can post pics of the 275 MT's that were as wide as the 295 BFGs if need be, or better yet i can post pics of how much wider my 305 MTs are than the 315 Nittos.

Go with the 325 they will fit just fine on a 15 x 10 wheel. 295 are just plain too small. I have 295 on the back of my 'ol truck with a 15 x 8 and they still look too skinny.

shouldn't really rub on 285s. i mean, i've seen 10.5" Rims not hit anything.

its not BAD and it could be from something else... it might have been from putting the tires on
