Tire Wobble

My brother just picked up an 03 mach 1 a few months ago and we've noticed that the rear tires wobble a little when going down the road. We made sure the lugs were tight with a torque wrench and there really doesn't have any vibrations. Can anyone help me with this one??

bent wheel for sure, have a tire shop but it on the tire balancer where it will turn the wheel at speed

Ok, i hope it's not the axles, but he's going to have the wheels balanced soon so hopefully we'll find out soon.

Well I need your guys help, we went and balanced the rims and they were smooth as a baby's @$$. I think it's nothing to do with the rims or tires. Anybody else have any ideas what else it could be???

Axles?


Pullem and see if they are bent. Its not hard.

If they are, get a 31 spline diff and some good axles.

I know, but he's kinda low on money so that might be out of the question.

You can try taking the wheel off, and spinning the axle and see if you can see any movement in the hub.

thats got to be a bent axel for sure if you drive it much longer you will warp the rotor and mess up the wheel bearings more. get it taken care of before it damages more stuff in the axel housing
