I'm frustrated by the way my car has been running lately so I decided to put it on a diet. Here's some pics...

OK, although it would be nice to drop this much weight I actually pulled the interior as I'm having a legal chrome-moly roll bar installed by Henry at HFR FABRICATION
The car goes in this weekend! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'll miss my 'ol chrome car bar that I've had in the car for years, but with the turbo going on soon its time to pull the trigger and get this done.

Are those the sparco seats you were looking at getting a while ago? Any pics/thoughts on them? I have been looking at what looks to be the same model if they are sparco's.

Yes, they are the Sparco Torino seats. I'm very happy with them as they are very supportive and yet comfortable on long trips. I went with them over others as their base was a little more narrow than most. I did this because I want my roll bar to have an "internal subframe connector" that will run from the main hoop along the floor and connect to the front of the swing out bar at the furthest point forward on the side impact bar. Surprisingly, these still seem really wide and I'm fearful that we may not be able to pull this off. I didn't buy seat tracks as I just re-used my passenger manual track and then got another passenger side manual track to use on the other seat. Use of the power track was not an option as it protrudes up into the seat and there is no room for that on the sparco. I'd have had to lift it way up in the air for that to happen and I wanted the seat to sit as low as possible in the car.

since you have the rear panels off, can you take some pics if you can of the window motor and mounting dodads if you can. i'd like to possibly see if one could swap vert rear windows into a coupe

sounds like a hairy setup cage/roll bar wise.

Sucks about the power seat not working...I was kinda wanting to keep that and or the lumbar bags if possible (lumbar in the back part at least). Not a deal breaker and it is great to know the manual racks work well.
